Position: Caring Steps Children’s Center Caregiver

Location: Caring Steps Children’s Center

Hours: 22.5 - 40 hours/week 12 month position

Reports to: Classroom Lead Caregiver

Supervises: None

Pay rate: $13.00 per hour

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework in child development or work experience in a child care or educational program preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience, and flexibility
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate use of good judgement
• Ability to interact and communicate positively and appropriately
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Regular, reliable and punctual attendance required.
  
  

• Assist with the administration of day-to-day classroom operations
• Assist with the preparation of bulletin boards and other materials used in the classroom
• Complete the required professional development training including CPR/First aid and GCN Training Modules
• Comply with all applicable licensing requirements
• Work cooperatively with children, parents and colleagues
• Be enthusiastic, conscientious and resourceful
• Comply with Center and District policies and procedures
• Maintain a professional attitude and loyalty to the program
• Other duties as assigned
