Our client, a cannabis company in the New York and New Jersey area, is seeking a Marketing Manager to contribute a great deal to the effectiveness of the company in identifying products and markets, suggesting sales strategies and approaches, and measuring the results of all of the efforts.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing,g and executing strategic marketing plans for our client’s brands and products, in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.

*This is a hybrid position requiring at least 3 days a week in person near Williamstown, NJ.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overall marketing strategy and execution of plans for the existing products.
• Serve as a partner to finance and product development in determining the viability of potential markets before production of a product with no business case or strategy prepared in advance.
• Managing and coordinating marketing and creative staff
• Working with product development teams to manage new product development.
• Managing launch campaigns for new products.
• Ensuring effective, branded marketing communications including the company website, print communication, and advertising.
• Managing media and marketing staff and external PR agencies.
• Analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts including their contribution to the effectiveness of sales campaigns.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field is a plus.
• 5 years of progressive marketing experience- preferably in the cannabis industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extremely reliable, responsive, accountable.
• Strong business acumen.
• Expertise with MS Office, and experience with Adobe Illustrator and MS Publisher a plus.
• Strong understanding of customers, market dynamics, and requirements.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 on a base
