Digital Marketing Manager

Organization: Covenant House California (CHC) is a nonprofit organization that provides sanctuary and support for youth overcoming homelessness, ages 18-24. CHC believes that no young person deserves to be homeless; that every young person in California deserves housing, food, clothing, education, and most importantly, to be loved. CHC provides a full continuum of services to meet the physical, emotional, educational, vocational, and spiritual well-being of young people.

Position Summary: The Digital Marketing Manager will partner with the Chief Development Officer and Director of Development to lead the agency's digital marketing acquisition and retention strategy and efforts state-wide. This role is responsible for establishing, managing, and executing CHC's owned and paid digital marketing channel strategies to support the mission of the agency and grow a profitable digital-first supporter network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to support the agency's visibility, engagement, and fundraising goals

  • Create and manage fundraising forms and pages for the Development team

  • Oversee paid digital campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others

  • Lead optimization of the agency's website, focusing on user experience and conversion rate improvements

  • Manage all aspects of email marketing, including campaign planning, automation, and segmentation

  • Serve as lead administrator for Blackbaud CRM and Raiser's Edge NXT for digital marketing purposes

  • Develop CRM-based strategies to enhance donor retention and acquisition

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance with data-informed insights

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure consistent, compelling, and mission-aligned messaging

  • Partner with external agencies to execute vendor deliverables

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent experience considered)

  • 5+ years professional experience in digital marketing

  • Proven experience managing paid media campaigns across multiple platforms

  • Strong background in website content and user experience optimization

  • Experience with email marketing platforms, including list segmentation and analytics

  • Experience with Blackbaud CRM, Raiser's Edge NXT is a plus

  • Knowledge of data analytics tools to monitor and optimize digital marketing performance

  • Knowledge in DonorDrive and design software (Canva and Adobe Creative Suite) preferred

Salary range: $65,000 -$85,000
Full-time, Hybrid
