Job Description
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, including direct mail, advertising, branding, promotions, and special events, contributing to the profitability of Belterra Park. This role oversees the Marketing Coordinator team, maximizes CRM tools, aligns strategies with VIP segments, and manages the Boyd Rewards loyalty program.

- Hire, motivate, evaluate, and manage staff to ensure guidance and resources for objectives.
- Develop and monitor departmental standards, guidelines, and budgets for efficient operations.
- Maintain department morale through supervision and training, ensuring customer service standards are met.
- Establish consumer marketing objectives, standards, procedures, and budgets per corporate policy.
- Plan and manage all consumer marketing functions, analyzing market opportunities and program effectiveness.
- Manage agency creative and production for marketing materials supporting operational areas.
- Coordinate communication with the Player Development team.
- Leverage Salesforce CRM for VIP communication strategies.
- Oversee property advertising, working with outside agencies to ensure brand consistency.
- Manage Boyd Rewards loyalty program and benefits fulfillment.
- Ensure marketing activities comply with gaming regulations and report accordingly.
- Collaborate with staff and departments to plan promotional activities.
- Develop and execute creative solutions for marketing challenges.
- Work with the Director of Marketing on strategic planning and evaluation.
- Host and facilitate promotional events, ensuring profitability and creating reports.
- Coordinate supplies and equipment maintenance for events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Hospitality, or related field, with 5+ years in a leadership role in casino marketing or player development.
- Maintain necessary regulatory licenses.
- Pass background, drug, and alcohol screenings.
- Willing to work various shifts, including holidays.
- Knowledge of casino and tourism industries.
- Experience managing marketing and/or host teams.
- Understanding regional markets and media strategies.
- Familiarity with budgeting, financial statements, and accounting principles.
- Knowledge of strategic marketing, planning, and project management.
