As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead the digital marketing team and execute hands-on tasks across various digital channels. This role requires a strategic, performance-driven individual who is also hands-on in campaign execution. The candidate will manage and mentor specialists in content, social media, email marketing, and influencer marketing, while engaging in daily tasks such as campaign setup, content creation, and performance analysis. The Digital Marketing Manager will play a key role in driving engagement, donations, and online presence through strategic leadership and direct execution.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and Execute Digital Marketing Strategies:
- Create, implement, and optimize strategies to drive engagement, conversions, and donations across digital channels.
- Participate in campaign execution, including ad setup, email sequences, and content SEO optimization.
- Manage digital campaigns such as Google Ads and social media ads, ensuring effective content distribution.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless campaign integration, supporting keyword research, A/B testing, and analytics.
- Align digital strategies with organizational goals in partnership with the Director of Marketing, adjusting tactics based on performance data.
Hands-on Management of Digital Marketing Team:
- Lead and mentor specialists in content, social media, email marketing, and influencer marketing, while participating in daily operations.
- Guide team members in campaign setup, optimization, and reporting, maintaining high standards.
- Create content, including ad copy, social media posts, and marketing materials.
- Participate in email campaign production, including design, segmentation, and automation.
- Set performance expectations, monitor team performance, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor digital marketing performance across channels, identifying and implementing optimization opportunities.
- Conduct A/B testing on email subjects, ad creatives, and landing pages to improve conversions.
- Update dashboards and reports with KPIs, sharing insights and recommendations.
- Use analytics tools for deep performance analysis, making data-driven decisions to enhance ROI.
- Monitor budgets closely, making real-time adjustments to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Direct Contribution:
- Work with departments like fundraising, communications, and IT to align digital efforts with organizational goals.
- Support the creation and execution of integrated campaigns for events and initiatives.
- Coordinate with external partners to enhance capabilities, ensuring alignment with performance targets.
- Engage with global teams for consistent digital marketing efforts across regions.
- Participate in strategy sessions, contributing ideas for future initiatives.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends and apply new techniques to improve campaigns.
- Experiment with new platforms, tools, and strategies to keep digital presence engaging.
- Share insights and thought leadership to promote continuous improvement.
- Implement new processes and tools to streamline operations and boost campaign performance.
- Encourage a culture of experimentation and learning within the team.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or related field; Masters or certifications preferred.
- 5-7 years of digital marketing experience, including campaign execution and optimization; 4+ years in management.
- Proficiency in tools like Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, SEO tools, and CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
