Marketing Technology Manager
The NCR Voyix marketing team is seeking a Marketing Technology Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of our digital marketing technologies. This strategic and technical role involves managing a team of digital specialists, collaborating with engineering and marketing teams, and driving the delivery of a next-generation digital experience that is focused on improving the customer experience and driving business growth. As the key technical resource, you will guide projects, assess the marketing technology landscape, identify integration points, and map data flows. Success in this role will require a background in marketing technology, progressing from a technical IC to a leader in this space.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of digital marketing specialists, fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Architect and optimize marketing technologies (CMS, Digital Analytics, Marketing Automation, Lead Gen) to drive customer engagement and business growth.
- Oversee and provide technical guidance in the development and integration of various marketing technologies and platforms, ensuring a cohesive, omnichannel experience.
- Manage conversion tracking across various platforms to measure campaign effectiveness, customer lifetime value (CLV), and attribution modeling.
- Enable advanced customer segmentation and predictive analytics.
- Engage in RFP evaluation of new tools and systems.
- Participate in implementation calls, document outcomes, and oversee technical design and execution while maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including specifications, timelines, and deliverables.
- Work closely with marketing, IT, and customer experience teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
- Lead development and CI/CD ops for Martech administrators and specialists.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to marketing systems and platforms.
- Manage and oversee the execution of technology-related projects within the marketing department, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Ensure that all marketing technologies adhere to privacy, ADA and data protection standards (GDPR, CCPA), and maintain secure data handling practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet changing priorities.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in digital marketing technology, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years in marketing technology architecture, preferably in SaaS, B2B, or e-commerce.
- Proven experience integrating Martech with CRM, e-commerce, and data platforms.
- Strong understanding of customer journey design across digital channels.
- Skilled in APIs, microservices, and third-party platform integration.
- Proficient in CMS/DXP platforms (e.g., AEM, Webflow, WordPress, Sitecore), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI), and marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
- Familiar with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365) and campaign tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Figma, On24).
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, CSS, PHP, SQL) and data management concepts (CDP, DAM, data warehouses).
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent certification).
- Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
- Understanding of sales and product lifecycles.
