Arper USA, Inc. is the North American subsidiary of Arper SpA (Italy) with showrooms and teams in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles, a network of Independent Representatives, and a manufacturing facility and customer care organization in High Point, North Carolina. We have a showroom and a team in Mexico City and dealers in most Central and South American markets.
We are an Italian design company with a long-standing presence in the Americas. We work with the A&D and dealer communities to win specifications in commercial interiors, in workplace, hospitality and higher education.

Position:
Title: Marketing Manager, Americas
Reports to: CEO Arper Americas
Location: New York City (preferred), Chicago (considered) – hybrid, 3 days+ in the office
Salary Range: $75-95K
The Marketing Manager, Americas defines and implements the local Marketing strategy for the Americas region according to local needs and market conditions. This position reports to the CEO of Arper Americas, indirectly reporting to the CMO of Arper SpA and liaising closely with the Corporate Marketing department in Italy to ensure that all plans and activities align with the overall Global Marketing Strategy.
This position is an individual contributor and part of the Arper Americas Management Team, a close-knit and agile group where each member takes a hands-on approach and embraces a variety of responsibilities. The team is focused on demand generation and acquiring new customers to grow market share.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Manager defines and drives all branding and commercial activities for customer lead nurturing. Collaborating with Brand Marketing, the digital, social, and creative teams, this position ensures consistent and flawless execution. The Marketing Manager defines and monitors budgets, expenses and KPIs.
Market-specific Sales Tools and Communications
- Lead the development of Arper Americas marketing strategy, campaigns and tools, advocate for the unique needs of the region, and communicate and implement the resulting Marketing Plan
- Build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.
- Grow pipeline by creating, executing, and leading the demand generation strategy across every stage of the buyer’s journey with clear goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics.
- Create newsletters, sales communications, presentations and tools to align with marketing materials created by Arper in Italy
- Manage dealer programs and communications
- Define and manage local website content and utilization.
- Maintain central customer database in cooperation with Corporate Marketing in Italy.
- Coordinate updating mailing lists and direct marketing initiatives.
- Manage the identity of the Arper Americas showrooms and define ongoing in-store activations.
- Organize events and trade shows, notably Fulton Market Design Days.
- Coordinate Arper Americas presence at annual Salone del Mobile in Milan.
- Coordinate company meetings.
- Manage and brief the local PR agency and liaise with media partners, press, and influencers.
- Represent Arper in the Chicago Fulton Market Design Days planning committee.
- Coordinate IIDA team members membership and support planned events.
- Perform market research and competitive benchmark analysis, aimed to support Product Development, Pricing, Business strategies and Sales activities.
- Lead product collections launch, introduction and go to market implementation efforts in the Americas.
- Support sales network by providing market data and product information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
- A minimum of 4 to 5 years’ experience in leading Marketing activities with a proven record
- In-depth understanding of the B2B sales process in office furniture and commercial interiors and the relationships between clients, the A&D community, and dealers
- Proficiency with various software tools including but not limited to: Salesforce.com and Pardot for campaigns and lead generation, Google Analytics, Illustrator, Photoshop, CET Configura and Microsoft 360 suite.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills along with strong analytical capabilities and drive to action
- Strong and credible communication skills
- Strong relationship building, influencing, teamwork and people skills.
- Hands-on and able to juggle multiple projects at once, last minute requests and quick turnarounds with a productive outlook.
- Ability to travel.
- Fluency in Italian and Spanish is a plus.
