Overview


Hammock Beach Resort is seeking a Membership Marketing Manager to lead initiatives that drive membership growth and event sales. This strategic role combines marketing expertise with relationship-building to elevate our private club experience.



Position Objective


The Membership Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the Club’s marketing initiatives, CRM, and lead-generation strategies to support membership growth and engagement. This role works closely with the Membership Director and other staff members to develop and implement the Club’s overall marketing plan, promoting membership products, services, lifestyle offerings, and events to current and prospective members. Through consistent messaging, branding, and targeted campaigns, the Membership Marketing Manager tells the story of the Club and communicates the value of membership.



Responsibilities



  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Launch and manage paid Facebook, Instagram, and Google Ad campaigns. Generate analytical reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness and lead generation.

  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Develop and implement cost-effective digital and social media strategies to enhance engagement and drive membership inquiries, resulting in increased conversions.

  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Research and analyze social media and web content strategies to optimize engagement and increase inbound traffic.

  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Write, design, and publish engaging content using Canva and other platforms, ensuring alignment with Club branding and messaging.

  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Manage blog content for the Club’s website and newsletters, focusing on lifestyle, golf, dining, wellness, and member experience to increase SEO and engagement.

  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Utilize SEO best practices to elevate website presence and generate qualified membership leads.

  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Design marketing collateral and a monthly newsletter to promote membership, programs, amenities, and events.

  • Marketing & Lead Generation: Coordinate photo and video content creation to showcase the Club lifestyle, amenities, and member experience.

  • Membership Sales Support: Manage the CRM (HubSpot) to ensure all workflows, lead tracking, and automated messaging are up to date.

  • Membership Sales Support: Collaborate directly with the Director of Membership and Sales Manager to gain insights into strategic decision-making processes.

  • Membership Sales Support: Track and report on the full membership sales pipeline, from inquiry to conversion, while developing analytical skills through structured data analysis.

  • Membership Sales Support: Support the Membership Director and Membership Sales Manager with prospect follow-up, tours, and conversion efforts, providing an opportunity to enhance client interaction and negotiation skills.

  • Membership Sales Support: Coordinate member referral campaigns and promotions to drive new memberships, working closely with Director of Membership and Sales Manager to optimize campaign strategies.

  • Membership Sales Support: Prepare monthly membership marketing and sales reports, including leads, tours, conversions, and campaign ROI, offering exposure to executive-level reporting and strategic planning.

  • Member & Community Engagement: Manage the Club’s Instagram and Facebook channels to maximize awareness, engagement, and participation.

  • Member & Community Engagement: Develop blog posts highlighting member events, golf programs, wellness offerings, and community involvement to keep current members engaged and attract new prospects.

  • Member & Community Engagement: Create targeted communications to promote member participation in club events, tournaments, and social activities.

  • Member & Community Engagement: Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.

  • Member & Community Engagement: Develop partnerships with local businesses, real estate agents, and relocation networks to generate prospective member leads.

  • Member & Community Engagement: Support marketing of member events and occasional on-site presence at key events (evenings, weekends, holidays as needed).

  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with updates, editing, and improvement of the Club’s website.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist with front office duties including phone and walk-in inquiries as needed.



Education & Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).

  • 1–3 years of marketing experience, preferably in hospitality, private clubs, golf, or luxury lifestyle industries.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams

  • Proficient knowledge of Canva or similar graphic design platforms.

  • Proficient in a project management program to manage content creations

  • Basic knowledge of coding for marketing emails and Blogs

  • Familiarity with HubSpot CRM (or similar CRM platforms).

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or CRM-integrated tools).

  • Experience writing blogs, articles, or long-form content for digital platforms preferred.

  • Working knowledge of photography, videography, and video editing.

  • Must acquire working knowledge of Jonas for membership processing and billing, as well as Entrust Instant ID membership card software.

  • Must be physically able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, and lift up to 15 lbs.

  • Must present a professional demeanor at all times when representing the Club.
