JOB REQUIREMENTS: SALES & MARKETING MANAGER LA CROSSE CENTER: The City of La Crosse is seeking to hire a full-time Sales & Marketing Manager to become an essential team member at La Crosse's premier convention site and entertainment destination for concerts, conventions, trade shows, entertainment and sporting events. The position will serve the La Crosse Center to facilitate venue sales and marketing efforts, manage the activities and operations of the Sales team in scheduling and booking events, and coordinate key client and partner communications. The manager will forecast and track sales results and collaborate with the La Crosse Center management team, local hospitality community, and other partners to support long-term sales efforts.

Annual salary for this exempt position ranges between $75,899.20 and $86,923.20, depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, supervise, and coordinate the activities and operations of the Sales team in scheduling and booking events.
  • Manage key client and partner communications.
  • Forecast and track sales results.
  • Collaborate with La Crosse Center management, local hospitality community, and other partners to facilitate long-term sales efforts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field required.
  • 4+ years of sales and marketing experience (preferred).
  • Experience using Triple Seat, Cvent (or other applicable event software) preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in operating a computer and using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Proficiency in public relations; oral, written and interpersonal communication; public speaking; contract negotiation; sales forecasting; and sales and marketing program planning.
