Gotcha Covered is seeking an experienced, strategic, and highly professional Franchise Marketing Manager to join our team. This role guides franchise owners toward marketing success by providing coaching, training, and hands-on support. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in lead generation, PPC, SEO, and marketing analytics, plus the maturity and listening skills needed to coach small business owners effectively. This role requires experience working with entrepreneurs and translating marketing best practices into actionable strategies that drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Franchise Coaching & Support: Serve as a trusted advisor to franchise owners, providing one-on-one and group coaching on marketing strategies that generate qualified leads and increase revenue.
  • Guide owners in building and executing comprehensive marketing plans tailored to their local markets.
  • Translate complex digital marketing concepts into practical steps franchisees can confidently apply.
  • Actively listen to owners’ challenges, provide thoughtful feedback, and foster accountability to improve marketing performance while staying within brand guidelines.
  • Coach franchisees on evaluating and adjusting lead generation performance, helping them understand which tactics drive meaningful results and how to prioritize high-ROI channels.

Digital Marketing Expertise

  • Partner with the Marketing Director and our digital agency of record to assess lead generation campaign performance, including PPC and SEO.
  • Take ownership of centralized lead generation programs, ensuring they are strategically aligned, well-executed, and continuously optimized to meet franchise system growth goals.
  • Serve as the internal expert on digital lead flow, with a strong understanding of how paid and organic efforts drive leads through the funnel—from first click to closed sale.
  • Help owners understand the relationship between leads, conversions, and revenue, and identify areas to optimize.
  • Proficient in interpreting and leveraging data to drive insights, make recommendations, and adjust strategies in real time.

Training & Development

  • Conduct monthly training sessions and webinars on marketing best practices, tools, and strategies.
  • Create and deliver resources, including guides, videos, and case studies, to help owners succeed at the local level.
  • Support new franchisees during onboarding with foundational marketing training, while offering advanced coaching to seasoned owners.

Performance Measurement

  • Establish and track KPIs for local and system-wide marketing initiatives.
  • Provide reporting and analysis to help owners and corporate leadership understand marketing ROI.
  • Ensure data-driven decision-making is at the core of marketing strategies across the network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 7+ years of marketing experience, with strong focus on lead generation, PPC, SEO, and data analysis.
  • Experience developing and overseeing centralized lead generation programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect leads to revenue performance and communicate insights clearly.
  • Experience coaching, consulting, or advising small business owners; franchise experience is a plus; previous small business ownership is a plus.
  • Exceptional listening skills, maturity, and the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable in both group settings and one-on-one coaching.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as G Suite, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Sprout Social, Asana, and Canva (preferred).
  • Comfortable with both strategic planning and tactical execution.
