Role Overview

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will drive our go-to-market strategy for Cognite’s Industrial AI and Data platform, Cognite Data Fusion. You will be the voice of the customer, an expert on our competition, and a champion for our product’s value proposition. Collaborating closely with product management, sales, and marketing teams, you will ensure our messaging and sales enablement materials are compelling and effective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop product positioning and messaging based on user research and market insights.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats; engage with users and analysts for insights.
  • Create marketing materials, product tours, whitepapers, website content, demos, and organize events.
  • Equip sales teams with tools, presentations, battle cards, demos, and training materials.
  • Understand and advocate for customer needs, work with existing clients on workflows and success stories.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product story.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans for product launches, features, and market expansion.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in product marketing within B2B SaaS, preferably in Oil & Gas or Manufacturing.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in marketing, product management, or strategy roles.
  • Experience managing product marketing throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Understanding of industrial operations, data management, or AI/machine learning is a plus.
  • Proven success in developing and executing growth strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret market and sales data.
  • Hands-on, proactive attitude with a focus on impact and ownership.
