What You'll Do

  • Manage the full life cycle of proposals (Pre-positioning, RFPs, RFQs, SOQs) from opportunity review to final delivery.
  • Collaborate with Practice Area Leaders and the Marketing Team to develop pursuit strategy, win themes, and differentiators.
  • Create, edit, and polish proposal content including project descriptions, staff resumes, and tailored narratives.
  • Maintain and update the firm’s proposal library, boilerplate, resumes, and project data sheets.
  • Lead production of interview presentations, ensuring consistency, impact in storytelling and design.
  • Track deadlines, coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders, and ensure on-time submission.
  • Support go/no-go decision-making by assessing RFP requirements and providing input to leadership.
  • Partner with marketing staff on brand consistency, design standards, and digital asset management.
  • Monitor and improve proposal processes, tools, and templates for efficiency and quality.
  • Coordinate debriefs with clients and integrates lessons learned into future pursuits
  • Recommend creative, integrated and strategic tactics for winning pursuits, support BD goals, and extend reach and shelf life of marketing materials
  • Provides mentorship, coaching and some delegation to other staff and team members with discernment and clear communication

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture/Design, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in proposal management or marketing within Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (AEC).
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an eye for clarity and persuasion.
  • Mastery of Adobe InDesign and proficiency in other Adobe products.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms (Unanet, Deltek, Cosential, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Excellent project management skills—detail-oriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work across studios and with senior leaders
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong sense of visual storytelling with the ability to understand how layout, color, typography and imagery work together to support a message.
  • Working knowledge of standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) required.
