Can Corporation of America is a leader in the manufacturing of steel cans used in the agriculture and various other industries. We are currently hiring for a 2nd shift Electrician Technician for our Blandon Facility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain safe work practice for both electrical department personnel and plant personnel
• Install and maintain lighting and utility power circuits and equipment
• Install electrical equipment, conduit, and wiring per electrical prints and the NEC
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and able to work with PLC's & VFD's
• Troubleshoot and repair single and three phase motor control circuits
• Read and understand electrical print, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Troubleshoot and work with voltages ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
• 2-4 years of experience of electro-mechanical experience
• Proven experience as an electrician
• Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge
• Demonstrate ability to use electrical and hand tools
• Through knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel needed

Experience:

• Professional electrical: 1 year (Preferred)
