Key Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with the installation of wiring, fixtures, and other electrical components.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical problems.
- Transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the lead electrician.
- Entry-Level Electrician: While no prior professional experience is strictly required, candidates with basic knowledge of electrical systems or related hands-on experience (e.g., construction, home repairs) are preferred.
- Experienced Electrician:
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license in Georgia.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a licensed electrician.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, amp clamps, megohmmeters).
- Ability to install, bend and maintain various types of conduit and wiring systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and procedures (OSHA, NEC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical principles.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics (a plus).
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Basic math skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or apprenticeship in a related trade is a plus.
- Able to bend conduit.
