Essential Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
- Inspect electrical components, to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems in wiring, and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure functionality and prevent malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, such as architects engineers and other trades to ensure electrical systems are installed properly and are code compliant.
- Install and maintain lighting systems, including wiring, poles and fixtures,
- Adhere to safety standards and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices and other junior electricians as needed.
- Ability to understand customers needs and design build to meet those requests
- Knowledgeable in and the ability to procure material.
- Proven experience as an electrician in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various environments and conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to continually update knowledge and skills through training and professional development.
