About the Opportunity: We are currently seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team in Malden, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, experience working in a manufacturing or industrial setting, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position is essential to ensuring the electrical infrastructure of our facility operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems in a variety of systems including machinery, lighting, controls, and power distribution.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with OSHA, NEC, and company safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Assist with emergency repairs and respond to after-hours maintenance needs when required.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Proficiency using tools and equipment required for electrical installation and repair.
• Experience working with CNC machinery, PLCs, and automated systems.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for work order entry and documentation.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
