This position involves preventative maintenance, installation, and repair of electrical equipment, including motors, generators, transformers, and control systems within the facility.
The Electrician will apply electrical theory to test, modify, assemble, and troubleshoot electrical machinery and control equipment. The role also includes performing maintenance, diagnosing electrical malfunctions, and supporting manufacturing operations.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 4 years of experience similar to an apprenticeship, or a Department of Labor Electrician Apprenticeship Certificate, or 8 years of documented Electrician experience; or 5 years experience plus 3 years in a related trade
- Ability to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in manufacturing environments and working with blueprints
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
- Documentation verifying apprenticeship or relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial controls, motor control centers, VFDs, and power distribution panels
- Strong computer skills and experience with maintenance management systems
