Get to Know Your Team:

Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology, and oncology services.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the safe, accurate, and timely service of all electrical duties.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on hospital electrical distribution systems, electrical equipment, and small appliances.
• Install new electrical systems and perform preventative maintenance checks as required.
• Maintain charts, logs, and records; be familiar with all electric blueprints for hospital buildings.
• Assist with advanced technical preventive maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning services, if required.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Four (4) years of relevant work experience
• Current Journeyman Electrician’s License

Preferred Job Requirements:

• One (1) year Vocational Training/Technical school
• Five (5) years of related work experience
