Electrician Job at Orion Talent in Morgantown

Overview

Position: Electrician in Lancaster, PA. Base pay range: $30.00/hr - $35.00/hr. Your actual pay will be based on skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Installation, upgrading, and repair of a variety of plant equipment to support manufacturing operations.
• Accept responsibility for completion of assigned jobs/projects, selecting and purchasing electrical supplies/apparatus, and coordinating with outside contractors of various crafts.
• Work within the guidelines of the National Electrical Code and any state or local codes.
• Work will be performed at both the Melt Shop and Raw Materials processing operations.

Qualifications

• Provide hands-on electrical support for plant facilities, including up to 480V/3 phase requirements.
• Troubleshoot, modify, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Plan and coordinate installation of new plant equipment.
• Install control circuitry (motor, hydraulic, pneumatic, etc.).
• Maintain inventories of electrical parts and supplies; obtain approvals and order parts.
• Collaborate with management to resolve recurring problems and follow up on the effectiveness of solutions.
• Perform non-electrical projects and repairs as needed to fill in for vacations, personnel shortages, and emergencies.
