Here, you will make an impact by:* Will be responsible for troubleshooting and solving complex problems in all areas of the plant. Perform design work on upgrades, modifications and engineering projects. Have proficiency in designing logic for multiple platforms. Be available to maintain and restore equipment to run status whenever problems occur. Provide documentation on engineering projects, upgrades and modifications. Recommend and initiate improvements, including follow-through to complete implementation. Provide technical assistance to maintenance craftspeople in identifying and resolving electrical/electronic issues.* Troubleshoot and solve problems relating to production equipment breakdowns and make necessary repairs to electronic equipment to maintain and restore equipment up time.* Monitor modifications/upgrades and keep procedures updated. Assist engineering in design and check out of new equipment.* Remain current with technology such as PLC’s, Variable Frequency Drives, Instrumentation, Wonderware, etc. Train technicians and electricians to improve troubleshooting and overall skill level. Maintain prints to reflect current status.* Research, analyze, recommend and implement improved control systems, methods of operations, PM's and spare parts.**Your Skills and Expertise**To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:* Possess an associate degree in electrical and/or electrician certification OR three (3) years’ experiences in electrician in industrial/manufacturing facility.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:* Must have the ability to read, understand, and update electrical prints.* CMRT – Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician or Journeyman certificate**Pay & Benefits:*** **The starting rate of pay for this position is $34.72/per hr.** *This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
