About This Role

We are looking for a Service Electrician to handle a variety of residential electrical tasks. In this role, you will troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes. You will diagnose issues, perform necessary repairs or replacements, and communicate effectively with homeowners to explain problems and solutions. Strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service are key to succeeding in this position.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems, identify issues, and perform repairs to restore functionality.
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers.
• Communicate effectively with customers about electrical problems and solutions.
• Handle physical demands such as climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, and lifting heavy objects.
• Perform wiring tasks including installing disconnects, breakers, and accessories.
• Use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials properly.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Over 2 years of electrical experience, preferably residential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Climb ladders, access attics, navigate tight spaces, drive, and perform physical tasks.
• Work in various environments including outdoor and indoor settings.
• Stand, walk, sit, and communicate effectively.
