Overview

Steel Dynamics’ New Millennium Building Systems platform is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support our advanced manufacturing operations. This is a stable, long-term career opportunity with competitive pay, premium benefits, and ongoing technical training.

What You Will Do

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, controls, PLCs, and motor drives in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Work with and maintain equipment such as overhead cranes, safety scanners, and light curtains
• Read and interpret schematics, ladder logic, and PLC programs
• Perform 480V three-phase wiring, low-voltage wiring, and other electrical work
• Follow and enforce all electrical and lockout/tagout procedures to support a strong safety culture

What We Are Looking For

• Required
  • Proven electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial or manufacturing setting
  • Ability to read and understand schematics and technical diagrams
  • Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment
  • Willingness to work night shift and occasional crossover between shifts
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
• Preferred (but not required)
  • Experience with Siemens or Allen-Bradley PLCs
  • Previous work with overhead cranes and industrial automation systems
