Summary

We are seeking an Electrician for our Salisbury, MD facility. The role involves performing electrical duties, including equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown response, and troubleshooting equipment failures.

The position offers a target wage of $22.00 to $33.00 per hour, depending on shift, experience, and qualifications, with an annual performance-based bonus and potential overtime.

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manufacturer manuals and electrical schematic diagrams.
• Perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Complete and submit work documentation, such as PM sheets, work orders, and logs.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns during and outside of normal hours to ensure continuous operations.
• Carry out equipment repairs following OSHA regulations, lockout-tagout procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Notify supervisors of potential issues.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including possibly self-contained breathing apparatus.

Minimum Education

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Strong reading, writing, math, and analytical skills.
• Valid Class C driver’s license.
• Skills in troubleshooting switches, 3-phase motors, and lighting fixtures and ballasts.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Must be able to move throughout the facility carrying tools and equipment, reach heights up to 150 feet, and work in outdoor and indoor conditions, including confined spaces. Work may involve exposure to seasonal weather, airborne dust, chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures. Proper PPE must be worn at all times, and ladder climbing may be required.
