Job Duties

  • Program and modify machine control logic for CNC machines, robots, and P.C. controlled machines as directed by the electrical department.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, recover and repair robots.
  • Design, assemble, install, and test electrical fixtures, control equipment, and wiring for various systems.
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications for installation planning.
  • Secure electrical panels and equipment to structures.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit connecting outlets, panels, and machinery.
  • Connect and test electrical equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety.
  • Maintain electrical equipment in good repair.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete work orders accurately and promptly in E-maintenance system.
  • Perform other incidental duties as required.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to sit, crawl, reach, twist, push, pull, grip, pinch, squat, bend, stand, and climb stairs/ladders occasionally.
  • Frequently stand and walk.
  • Lift and carry weights ranging from under 25 lbs to over 50 lbs, as needed.
  • Perform repetitive motions of hands, wrists, forearms, elbows, and shoulders.

Desired Skills & Expertise

  • Valid Journeyperson card or eight years of trade-related experience documented properly.
  • Experience with new equipment installation, hydraulics, and industrial power distribution.
  • Furnace thermal couple calibration, inspection, and repair skills.
  • Knowledge of 480, 110, 220, and 3-phase electrical systems; ability to read schematics.
  • Preventative maintenance, E Maintenance, Rockwell Logix, Fanuc robotics, and CNC experience.
  • Strong organization and communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively.
