We are seeking a skilled and dependable Mid-Level Electrician with 3-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems according to NEC codes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, lighting systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings, including new construction and remodels.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit to meet specifications and code requirements
  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • 3-5 years of electrical experience with strong hands-on skills in conduit bending and installation (EMT, PVC, rigid conduit, MC cable).
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
  • Familiar with conduit bending tools such as hand benders, Chicago bender, and hydraulic bender/Greenlee.
  • Ability to pull wire and terminate according to the NEC and Texas Electrical Code.
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting lighting control systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, and UPS systems.
  • Skilled in using various electrical testing and diagnostic tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, and megohmmeters.
  • Valid Texas electrician license (Apprentice or Journeyman).
  • Valid Texas driver’s license or reliable transportation.
  • Run conduit (EMT, PVC, RMC), pull wire, and terminate devices such as receptacles, switches (including 3-way and 4-way), lighting, and control systems.
  • Install subpanels, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and lighting control panels.
  • Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, megohmmeters, and other electrical testing devices.
  • Plan layout and installation of conduit systems and pull wire through conduit.
  • Size wire and conduit runs properly, calculate voltage drop, and determine pull box/J-box sizes based on fill requirements.
  • Install and troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, ensuring balanced loads and proper phasing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical code specifications to determine layout and installation details.
  • Coordinate with other trades on job sites to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company policies and OSHA/Texas safety regulations.
