Journeyman Electrician - Akron, Ohio #25-01324

Salary Range: $30.00 - $50.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits.

Akron Area Company is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to troubleshoot electrical circuits, power distribution, and PLC / HMI controls on production machinery and facility to include: extruders, mills, mixers, and industrial lighting.

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Graduate and electrician apprenticeship program completed
• Has completed an apprenticeship program and holds a journeyman card
• 1+ years' of industrial electrician experience
• Perform electrical troubleshooting up to 480V industrial machinery circuits
• Experience installing Allen-Bradley PLCs, Human Machine Interface, and Control Networks
• Mechanical aptitude working with hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and mechanical repair is a plus
• Good problem solving & troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work 5:50am-4pm
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., work in confined spaces, climb ladders and work from heights.

Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
