MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

At Stewart Glass, you will work in a state-of-the-art glass factory, collaborating with a highly skilled team in a dynamic and hands-on environment. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in Logan, OH.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a commercial or industrial setting. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. The Maintenance Electrician will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our operations.

RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand system layouts.
  • Install, maintain, and repair high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work performed.
  • Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure optimal operation of all equipment.
  • Document all maintenance activities and repairs performed.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience as a commercial or industrial electrician is required.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage applications.
  • Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards is essential.
  • Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
  • Experience with power tools and general maintenance practices is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
