Johnstown Wire Technologies, Inc. d.b.a Liberty Wire Johnstown is the largest producer of value added carbon and alloy wire in North America located in Johnstown, PA. We are currently seeking qualified applicants for full-time Industrial Electrician to join our expanding team.

Qualified applicants must have experience and training in troubleshooting, repair, maintenance & installation of industrial electrical equipment

Job Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment in a production environment, which includes AC/DC motors & controls, Industrial Rectifiers, Overhead Cranes, Industrial electronics, PLCs and VFDs
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot and repair equipment, including disassembling and reassembling machinery
• Read and understand engineering drawings/schematics
• Operate mobile fork truck, overhead hoists & overhead cranes
• Ability to operate shop equipment (band/table saw, drill press, hydraulic press, power tools, hand tools)
• Ability to weld and do mechanical work is a plus
• Capable of working in elevated areas
