Bluewater Learning is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to support our creative team in delivering custom visual solutions across a variety of projects. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visual assets to accompany eLearning courses, videos, and instructor-led or virtual instructor-led trainings (ILTs/VILTs). Additionally, you’ll help design client-facing welcome pages, dashboards, and learning journey visuals that enhance learner usability and engagement. You’ll collaborate closely with our instructional designers and developers to ensure all designs align with the project vision and the client’s branding and style guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Creative thinker with the ability to transform concepts and ideas into visually appealing designs that resonate with the target audience.
  • Strong storytelling skills through design to create compelling visuals that communicate messages effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for color, typography, and layout.
  • Ability to adapt design style (creative and corporate) to suit different project needs and deliverables (e.g., branding materials, eLearning assets).
  • Understanding of design principles and how to apply them in different mediums (print, digital).
  • Experience designing for web, including creating visually engaging homepages, dashboards, and content layouts with a focus on user experience and intuitive navigation.
  • Ability to translate client needs into clean, user-friendly web designs that balance aesthetics with usability and functionality.
  • Willingness to stay updated on new design trends, tools, and techniques, and incorporate them into projects.
  • Ability to collaborate with other creative professionals, such as instructional designers and developers, to create cohesive and impactful visuals. Familiarity with industry-standard design tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, etc.).
  • Must be a resident of the United States

Assessment Component:

  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work, including illustrations, print designs, digital content, and motion graphics.
  • Interview
  • Graphical Prototype Assessment and Presentation

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of professional experience as a graphic designer is preferred.
