Graphic Designer – Print & Digital Storytelling
Our client, a well-established and mission-driven organization dedicated to ecological restoration and sustainable practices, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to bring meaningful stories to life through impactful print and digital design while supporting a cause rooted in environmental stewardship.
The Graphic Designer will play a key role in shaping brand identity, elevating marketing collateral, and creating compelling visuals that reflect the integrity and value of native landscapes. Base pay range
$50,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a brand steward by auditing, refreshing, and maintaining consistency across all visual materials.
- Design engaging print and digital collateral including brochures, packaging, signage, catalogs, and educational resources.
- Create digital assets for email campaigns, social media, and the company website.
- Support storytelling initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams on seasonal and campaign-based projects.
- Assist with photo editing, visual asset management, and catalog layout design.
- Enhance product presentation across packaging, labeling, and shipping materials.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and provide design input for marketing and outreach strategies.
- Monitor the effectiveness of design initiatives through customer feedback and analytics.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process enhancements and maintaining SOPs related to design workflows.
Experience & Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience (in-house or freelance).
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Canva.
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
- Experience managing print vendors, preparing production files, and understanding cost/timeline considerations.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and/or nature-inspired aesthetics strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with web design principles; BigCommerce experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Passion for conservation, environmental education, or mission-driven design is highly desirable.
