Part-Time Graphic Designer

We’re seeking a Part-Time Graphic Designer to join our team in Columbia, SC. This role plays a key part in producing the agency’s publications and marketing materials, with a primary focus on designing the monthly Magazine. If you thrive under deadlines, enjoy bringing content to life, and are confident in Adobe InDesign, this could be the perfect fit.

Overview

Part-Time Graphic Designer position in Columbia, SC focused on producing the monthly Magazine and supporting the agency’s publications and marketing materials. Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign is required.

What You’ll Do

• Gather, organize, and coordinate content from department heads and stakeholders.
• Design and layout the monthly publication using Adobe InDesign.
• Coordinate with staff, external partners, and production teams.
• Meet strict publishing deadlines – magazine must be delivered by the 1st of each month.

Photography & Visual Content

• Capture high-quality event photos and staff headshots.
• Edit photos for publications and marketing use.

Other Marketing Materials

• Create brochures, flyers, online banners, and other collateral as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• InDesign expertise (non-negotiable)
• Familiarity with Photoshop and/or Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of design principles and content organization.
• Photography and basic photo-editing skills.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple inputs.
• Confident communicator who collaborates well and can handle direct feedback.
• On-site role with occasional event attendance for photography.
• Flexible scheduling (you set your own hours – as long as deadlines are met).
