Job Purpose:

Asurion’s internal creative team needs help. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer/Digital Production artist that can join our Design Studio team and help us create marketing collateral, version assets, make type edits, release files and other typical marketing asset production design jobs.

The perfect person for this role:

You’re an experienced designer/production artist who can take a creative brief and quickly turn around a finished proof using Adobe Creative Suite or Figma. You don’t need a lot of hand-holding, but you are good at working in a collaborative environment. We need somebody who can follow the vision of existing work and help us move our projects from in-progress to complete.

NOTE: This is mostly asset production work with new creative. If you are looking for a highly conceptual advertising job, this is not the role for you!

What you’ll do:

Working closely with our Sr. Art Director and members of our Marketing team, you could be versioning letters in InDesign, then the next day resizing banners in Figma, before moving back to INDD to create terms and conditions brochures. We’ll keep you busy updating text in a variety of marketing assets. If you’re a detail-oriented person with a decent design eye, you’ll fit in perfectly.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing assets in print and digital channels.
  • Apply brand identity systems, typography, photography, and color for numerous brands.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously within established timeframes and maintain an awareness of status and project deliverables. (Being a bit of a Project Manager – or someone who has managed design jobs from start to finish, is a great thing for this role!)

Minimum Qualifications

Creative Qualifications:

  • A desire to do “production studio” type of work: you’re not trying to be super creative, you just like working in design software making edits, updates and following established concepts and brands.
  • Portfolio of creative work, showing graphic design and creative skills across multiple channels (print and online.)
  • Knowledge in the use of design concepts (layout, typography, color, white space, and grid); Understanding of print concepts (bleed, resolution, and color)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an adverting agency or marketing/design firm
  • Advanced knowledge in the following programs/tools: Adobe Creative Suite, (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Figma. (Working knowledge of After Effects is a plus.)
  • Experience working with Project Management platforms, ideally Workfront.

General Qualifications:

  • Natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with cross functional team
  • Ability to respond to all communications effectively and in a timely manner
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage/execute multiple ongoing projects
  • Strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven record of working and thriving in a fast-paced changing environment with examples of the ability to change direction based on contingencies or environmental changes while staying true to the creative brief/strategy
  • Strong project-management skills and the ability to take ownership of assigned projects from beginning to end
  • Ability to be flexible and accommodating under pressure
  • Strong proof-reading skills and attention to detail
