Our client, a leader in financial tax software , is looking to hire a UX/UI Designer . This is a hybrid role that will be onsite 3x a week in Mountain View, CA.
*This job is a 5-month W2 contract role with benefits & paid holidays!*
As a UX/UI Designer, you will ensure seamless design and the successful implementation of UI/UX best practices and principles across all digital platforms, collaborating with product development teams, engineers, marketers project managers, and SEO teams to deliver polished and informative designs.
Responsibilities
- Produce high quality UX designs through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes
- Design UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for digital assets
- Test UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages
- Provide advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing to a nalyze and predict user behavior
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of relevant design experience
- Experience using Figma, Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems and Adobe Creative Suite in collaboration with CMS systems
- Prior experience in commercial web & mobile applications development
- Must have a creative online portfolio that demonstrates your strengths in typography & layout!
Desired Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience in the FinTech, SaaS, or Financial Services Industries a huge plus!
