Overview

The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students with online Graphic Design tutors nationwide. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from home.

Responsibilities

• Tutor remotely using the Live Learning Platform and deliver effective online instruction.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Get matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; we handle payments and support logistics.
• Utilize tools such as the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions, save prep time, and improve engagement.
• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring and on-demand tutoring when available.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in Graphic Design with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; rates can reach up to $40/hour with the same student.
• Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.
• Remote work with no commuting.
• We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and we manage payments.
