Summary:

  • Client is looking for a highly creative and experienced Package Design Manager to lead their Graphic Design team within the cosmetics industry.
  • As a Package Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing visually stunning and marketable packaging for cosmetic products.
  • You will be responsible for a wide range of design tasks, including product design, photo shoots (both in-house and with vendors), and collaborating with licensing companies such as Hello Kitty, Kakao, Line Friends, BT21, Disney, and more.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Product Design: Conceptualize, design, and execute creative product designs that align with our brand's aesthetics and target audience. This includes creating artwork, patterns, and graphics for a variety of products, from apparel to accessories.
  • Photo Shoot Management: Coordinate and participate in both in-house and vendor-managed photo shoots. Ensure that the visual content captures the essence of our products and brand. Manage set design, model selection, and image editing.
  • Licensing Collaboration: Work closely with licensing partners, including Hello Kitty, Kakao, Line Friends, BT21, Disney, and others, to develop licensed product lines that meet brand standards. Collaborate on design and approval processes for co-branded merchandise.
  • Graphic Content Creation: Create engaging visual content for marketing materials, social media, and e-commerce platforms. Ensure consistency with the brand's identity and messaging.
  • Design Software Proficiency: Utilize design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) to craft high-quality graphics and artwork.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in design work, ensuring final products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development, and production teams to bring design concepts to life. Manage a small graphic design team and provide creative input.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in product design or the cosmetic industry.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools.
  • Strong creative and artistic skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of licensing and branding is a plus.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing diverse design work.
