Location: Garden Grove, CA 92841
Position Type: Direct Hire | Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 annually, D.O.E.
Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, hands-on Bilingual Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team onsite in Garden Grove, CA. This role requires a well-rounded HR professional with experience across the full employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding to compensation, development, compliance, and employee engagement.
The HR Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for employees on HR-related matters while ensuring compliance with employment laws, creating a positive workplace culture, and partnering with leadership to drive business performance. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a contributing member of the leadership team, providing expertise in talent management, performance management, strategic recruiting, learning and development, and HR best practices.
- Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance across HR functions, including EEO, ACA, FMLA, workers’ compensation, 401(k), and OSHA safety programs.
- Lead and manage employee engagement initiatives, events, and programs designed to build morale, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
- Partner with hiring managers to actively recruit, screen, interview, and onboard top talent while managing exit processes when necessary.
- Analyze HR metrics and benchmark data to support workforce planning, annual salary surveys, compensation planning, and performance evaluation processes.
- Coach and counsel employees and managers on performance, employee relations, and disciplinary matters, ensuring fairness and confidentiality.
- Provide leadership in benefits administration, open enrollment, and policy changes to ensure employee understanding and participation.
- Collaborate with site leaders to create a safe work environment, oversee workers’ compensation claims, and lead workplace safety investigations.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion with sensitive employee information while building trust and fostering an open-door policy.
- Support leadership in implementing new HR policies and processes that enhance operational effectiveness.
- Perform other HR-related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive HR experience in a mid-sized (250–500 employees) manufacturing or fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager; SHRM certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law with demonstrated compliance expertise.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred), and related software.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High integrity in handling confidential employee information with professionalism.
- Experience in employee relations, FMLA, EEO/ADA guidelines, and workers’ compensation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
- Positive, hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to change.
