Bilingual Human Resources Specialist
LaSalle Network is hiring a Bilingual Human Resources Specialist at a global manufacturing company based in Deerfield, IL. This organization brings over 100 years of industry experience and are continuing to grow at an impressive rate. The Bilingual Human Resources Specialist will work in a matrixed environment, acting as a trusted HR advisor for corporate and manufacturing staff. The ideal candidate will be a true generalist in HR with a strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, engagement and talent. Bonus points if you're fluent in Spanish!
Bilingual Human Resources Specialist Responsibilities:
- Serve as a point of contact and liaison for employee inquiries, concerns, conflict resolution and off-boarding between managers and employees.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate actions in line with company policies.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Support the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Assist in the administration of performance review cycles and goal-setting processes.
- Provide guidance on coaching, feedback, and development planning.
- Lead Leaves of Absences (LOA) Program including but not limited to FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA Accommodation, and Workers Compensation
- Supports benefits program rollout, changes, communication for assigned location.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making.
Bilingual Human Resources Specialist Requirements:
- Bachelors degree preferred; SHRM or similar certifications are a plus
- 5+ years of human resources experience in a generalist capacity
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
- Experience in employee relations and benefits required; experience in compensation and talent acquisition preferred.
