Deputy Executive Manager of Administration
2225 E. Common Street, New Braunfels, Texas
Summary
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for optimizing the employee experience, from onboarding and throughout the employees career. This position will assist in the onboarding program, design training initiatives organizational wide and implement engagement processes to celebrate and retain employees. This position reports directly to the Deputy Executive Manager of Administration and performs duties requested and directed by the Executive Manager of Administration.
- Perform a wide variety of human resource duties in support of GBRA staff.
- Provide customer service by offering guidance and answering questions surrounding HR practices, policies, and procedures; responds to employment verification requests.
- Administer employee recognition programs.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to benefits, talent management, recognition, engagement, retention and morale.
- Initiate and prepare all necessary forms and correspondence related to training requests, employee recognition, certifications and licensing.
- Work closely with Records Management regarding employee records, files and correspondence.
- Maintain a calendar of activities, meetings, and various events for assigned staff.
- Coordinate with HR team to accomplish HR Strategic Initiatives and goals.
- Assess and coordinate employee training and development needs and courses.
- Maintain high levels of employee engagement by implementing and executing events, campaigns and activities for staff.
- Maintain resource documents related to organizational structure and employee benefits and resources.
- Responsible for ordering and maintaining promotional employee items.
- Assist with planning and coordination of employer sponsored events.
- Assist with safety programs and administration as needed.
- Facilitate orientation sessions and mentorship programs to ensure engagement and retention.
- Other duties assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Will consider applicable work experience in lieu of a degree.
Current valid driver's license and ability to remain insurable under GBRAs vehicle liability policy.

3+ years of experience in Administration; HR administration preferred.
