Location Type: This is an onsite role located in Auburn Hills, MI

How You’ll Make An Impact

Operational HR Leadership

  • Provide strategic HR guidance on business unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Partner with management to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop proactive solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all HR practices.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with professionalism and objectivity.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and provide performance management coaching to leaders.
  • Foster a positive work environment that enhances morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Guide managers on effective documentation and consistent performance criteria.

Talent Development & Acquisition

  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent.
  • Identify training needs and support executive coaching initiatives.
  • Evaluate and monitor training programs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with business goals.

Functional HR Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational transformation.
  • Promote a culture of engagement, motivation, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field OR equivalent experience, calculated as two (2) years of relevant work experience for each year of academic study.
  • 7-10 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in automation or automotive environments with at least 3 years of experience leading team(s) or managing human resources responsibilities.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
