What You'll Do

  • As part of our team, you'll be at the heart of our business-building relationships, driving growth, and making an impact. Your role will include:
  • Architect and oversee all things HR-from talent acquisition and retention to rewards and recognition, culture, compliance, and leadership support.
  • Manage the Human Capital Plan in alignment with the Association's Strategic Business Plan (yes, this means big-picture thinking with actionable outcomes).
  • Run our annual performance review process like a well-oiled machine.
  • Craft and lead recruiting and retention strategies that keep our talent pipeline strong and our employees happy.
  • Design and implement training programs.
  • Ensure we're buttoned up legally and compliant, but never boring.
  • Champion the employee experience from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.
  • Bring heart and hustle to every HR conversation-because spreadsheets are important, but people are our real bottom line.
  • Stay on top of trends, legal updates, and HR best practices, and educate leadership when change is needed.
  • Continuously update procedures to ensure processes run smoothly and audit items are compliant.
  • Oversee payroll administration with attention to every detail.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field (bonus points for advanced degrees or certifications!).

7+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in leadership or strategic role handling responsibilities like those listed above.

Current PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

A master of how to organize, prioritize, and pivot when things change (because they always do).

Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and ready to dive into new systems and HR tools.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and can explain complex ideas in human terms.

A customer service mindset-you care deeply about creating a positive, responsive experience for internal and external stakeholders.

A collaborative spirit with the ability to build relationships across departments and work independently when needed.

Discretion and sound judgment-you know when to act, when to listen, and how to handle sensitive information.
