About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and people-focused HR Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager. This role will play a pivotal part in driving employee engagement, supporting performance management strategies, and delivering HR initiatives across a multi-location, U.S.-based workforce.
The ideal candidate brings a well-rounded background in employee relations, HR operations, with a strong understanding of U.S. employment practices and regulations. You’ll collaborate closely with business leaders and HR colleagues to foster a positive, high-performance culture while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience partnering with senior HR leadership to implement strategies that drive employee engagement, performance management, and organizational development.
- Experience managing complex employee relations matters, including conducting investigations, assessing risk, and recommending appropriate resolutions with discretion and integrity.
- Knowledge of HR practices, policies, and programs across multiple U.S. states, with the ability to ensure compliance with state and federal employment legislation.
- Experience designing and delivering leadership and training programs to support people development and organizational capability.
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment, including collaboration with talent acquisition and adherence to sourcing, selection, and compliance standards across the USA.
- Proficiency in leveraging HRIS platforms such as Workday and ADP to support data integrity, reporting, and HR analytics (asset).
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization to foster a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Experience coaching managers and employees through performance management cycles, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
- Strong ability to manage competing priorities with urgency, discretion, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Completion of a university degree and/or college level Human Resources Management program or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience of a diverse in Human Resources background, two of which are in a Generalist capacity.
- Human Resources certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM) preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed by the business (less than 10% of the time).
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities.
- Ability to use and view a computer screen for up to 8 hours per day.
- Ability to communicate via telephone and e-mail without assistance.
