Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Description: GridHawk LLC, the premier provider for utility locating, damage prevention services, and other utility services is currently seeking to fill the Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the overall management and provisions of HR services, policies, and programs. This position will work hand in hand with executive staff in order to build, improve, and implement change where necessary. The Manager will work to identify current and future employees needs in order to continuously improve the culture of the company. GridHawk LLC is an equal opportunity employer. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Employee Relations


○ Coaches and trains managing staff with communication practices

○ Conduct investigations

○ Jira Disciplinary Documents and Off Boarding

○ Leads implementation of organizations and company support groups

○ Employee Engagement

■ Survey Follow-up and communication

○ Reviews/administers company needs

○ Employment Verifications (non-wage related)

○ DOT Management

■ Random Drug Testing

■ SAP Program

■ Post-Accident

  • Employee offboarding


○ Reviewing all terminations prior to the communication of the termination

○ Involuntary terms (Finding/Determination Form)

○ Manage Unemployment Request/Hearings

○ System access terminated

  • Performance Management


○ Update and maintain anniversary list

○ Send out reviews for the month (through payroll system)

○ Correspondence with operational team on on-time performance/compliance

  • Leads company compliance with existing government/legal laws and regulations
  • Protects the interest of the employees and GridHawk LLC in accordance with all policies, laws and regulations
  • HRIS administration


Qualifications Requirements:

High School Diploma or Equivalency (GED)

  • 4+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Multiple years (2-3 years preferred) of Managerial experience
  • Human Resources Professional certification preferred
  • Pass a Background Screening (no violations within the last 5 years)
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen


Benefits:

All employees are eligible to receive some form of company benefits. All benefits are available to regular, full-time employees who maintain an average of 30 hours worked per week. Qualifying employees can enjoy paid holidays and PTO. Health benefits will be available the first of the next month following 30 days of employment. The 401k and matching program is available after their 90-day introductory period.
