Overview

PURPOSE STATEMENT: Coordinate one or more human resources core processes including, but not limited to, benefits, compensation, labor relations, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Coordinate new hire and benefits orientation, employee training programs, hiring support, job analysis, compensation analysis, and routine employee relations.
  2. Act as the first point of contact with employees and supervisors on HR-related inquiries.
  3. Exercise judgment and discretion in handling HR issues and concerns, and direct complex issues to senior HR staff.
  4. Update and maintain employee data in UltiPro, ensuring the confidential handling of sensitive information.
  5. Manage onboarding processes for new employees, including UltiPro data entry and communication with relevant departments.

May perform activities across various cross-functional areas, interacting directly with employees regarding planning, problem resolution, process improvement, and reporting.

Interpret and communicate organizational policies and procedures.

Evaluate and apply information to advise employees and management on HR practices, policies, processes, and expectations.

Other Functions

Perform other tasks and functions as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • At least two years of human resources office experience.

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Professional certification in Human Resources preferred.
