About the Role:

The Human Resources Manager acts as the primary business partner to the site leadership team, providing support and expertise on all human resources and employment-related issues, including recruitment, investigation, disciplinary actions, employee development, communications, performance management, succession planning, and policies and procedures. Ensures that the Human Resources function is viewed as a full business partner aligned with business initiatives and directives within the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strong understanding of HR laws and compliance requirements.
  • Develops strong relationships with managers, business leaders, and HR.
  • Tracks and reports KPIs to measure and predict HR outcomes.
  • Serves as a strategic business partner to translate business goals into HR initiatives.
  • Leads organizational change efforts, encouraging innovation and risk-taking.
  • Utilizes Lean principles to evaluate HR tools and programs' efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provides guidance on policies, employee morale, discipline, and performance management.
  • Influences leaders in strategic discussions and change management.
  • Supports communication and implementation of business initiatives.
  • Participates in community engagement and corporate citizenship activities.
  • Leads the local HR team.
  • Implements HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions: recruitment, compensation, employee relations, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management tools.
  • Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Proven ability to innovate in recruitment and process solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Understanding of the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Experience in strategy development, policy design, and employee motivation.
  • Analytical skills.
  • At least 6 years of HR experience, including 3+ years as a site-wide HR leader.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience managing large teams.
  • Manufacturing industry experience.
  • Successful track record in implementing large-scale organizational change.
