As our Human Resource Generalist, you will report to and assist the Human Resource Manager with HR issues together with the corporate HR department. You will be relied upon to understand our goals and interpret HR related conflicts while applying company policy. At the same time, you will consider the legal impact of the team's decisions and minimize the potential negative financial risk

Qualifications

  • Provide support to Human Resources including recruitment and employment, personnel records (time keeping and HRIS records), employee and labor relations including investigations and resolutions, job evaluation, compensation management, benefits administration, organizational development, and training and special projects
  • Provide leadership and consulting support to supervisors to support achieving HR and operations goals
  • Facilitate global programs and development training activities
  • Work with managers to identify staffing needs and ensure staffing to meet volume projections
  • Assist site leadership with performance management
  • Ensure Human Resources related compliance knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws including wage and hourly compliance, FMLA, leave, ADA, and EEOC

What we would like you to bring

Knowledge And Experience

  • 3+ years Human Resources experience
  • Compliance knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws like wage and hourly compliance, FMLA, leave, ADA, and EEOC
  • PC literate, with the ability to use MS Suite, especially Excel (VLOOKUP and PivotTable beneficial), as well as experience with HRIS and payroll programs (UltiPro, UKG, and Kronos experience is helpful
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., PeopleSoft; UKGPro, Kronos)
  • Knowledge of HR-related laws such as Equal Employment Opportunity, Compensation and Benefits, FMLA, FLSA, Labor Relations, and Health and Safety
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations
  • Basic to intermediate Excel skills (basic formulas, PivotTables)
