- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Experience with basic Microsoft Office Suite and workforce management programs
- Ability to effectively use scheduling software
Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Expert, your typical day may include:
- Collaborating with your HR leader to anticipate and address talent and staffing needs, understanding guest needs, and ensuring the right experience and enthusiasm are in place.
- Leading recruiting efforts to help store leaders find candidates with the right skills.
- Supporting team member and leader training needs and advocating for continuous learning.
- Being an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices.
- Listening to team members and collaborating with leaders to take action.
- Delivering HR processes and programs to maximize engagement and reduce disruptions.
- Supporting compliance policies to mitigate risks.
- Creating a welcoming environment by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
- Demonstrating ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Working safely and reporting hazards.
- Performing other duties as needed based on business requirements.
