Your Role

Gensler’s North Central Region is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator focusing on supporting our Human Resources, Talent Development, and Talent Acquisition teams in onboarding, benefits, recruiting, talent development, and general HR administration. This creative and detail-oriented individual will join a fun, exciting and awesome group of professionals while functioning as the backbone of this Regional Human Resources team. To be successful in this role, the Human Resources Coordinator must be well versed in general HR policies and procedures, recruiting practices, and possess exceptional customer service skills to help guide various HR processes throughout the North Central Region. What You Will Do

Human Resources

  • Manages data entry in Workday (e.g. new hires, exits, leaves of absence, role or department changes, transfers, etc.).
  • Supports new hire onboarding and orientation activities.
  • Maintains and produces regularly scheduled HR reports, including People Status, PTO, etc.
  • Ensures collection and filing of appropriate documentation for employee files.
  • Assists with the creation of presentations and training materials.
  • Supports office events and coordination, as needed
  • Supports any event planning, program initiatives or employee recognition tasks for the region
  • Provides, as needed, administrative support to Regional HR Director & Regional Operating Officer on projects, travel arrangements, calendar management, and scheduling.

Talent Development

  • Maintains and produces regularly scheduled TD reports, including Learning and development tracking
  • Create and upload trainings into Workday Learning
  • Monitor and update Linked In learning platform for the region
  • Assists with the creation of presentations and training materials.
  • Manage training coordination, including scheduling regional training workshops and programs – collaborating with Studio Coordinators (Pathways, PDP (Professional Development Program), Talent Reviews, etc.), material preparation, and participant communication.
  • Provides, as needed, administrative support to Talent Development Leader with training platforms, programs, and projects.

Talent Acquisition

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition Specialist on regional recruiting efforts including scheduling interviews, hosting candidates and office tours.
  • Owns Applicant Tracking System data and recordkeeping including candidate status and candidate feedback.
  • Oversees and improves process for scheduling all candidate interviews.
  • Prepares and posts recruitment ads on industry websites.
  • Assists with the creation of presentations and training materials.
  • Designs new tools and processes to improve candidate experience and compliance.
  • Prepares recruiting offer letter packets.
  • Supports Campus Recruiting activities as needed.
  • Networks and engages with top early career talent and recruits them to Gensler.
  • Works with Talent Acquisition Specialist to review applicants for open positions.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field required.
  • 4+ years of experience in a human resources role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
  • Experience with Workday (HRIS) is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Adobe InDesign is preferred.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential data with integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to work with diverse, creative, professional people in a fast-paced and high growth environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to simultaneously manage projects and daily administrative tasks.
  • Self-motivated; able to drive and own initiatives.
  • Exhibits a client service focused attitude and approach.
  • Highly adaptable and flexible; able to navigate competing priorities.
  • Experience sourcing candidates and using your network of contacts in the industry and attention to detail.
  • Foundational understanding of human resources and recruiting.

The base salary range is $65,000 - $75,000, commensurate with relevant experience. In addition, standard benefits will be offered, and employees will be eligible for bonuses.
