Position Overview:

The HR Generalist will provide full-spectrum HR support across Tilray’s Sweetwater (Atlanta, GA) and Terrapin (Athens, GA) operations. This role is responsible for executing core HR functions including employee relations, recruitment coordination, onboarding, compliance, and HRIS administration. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on, adaptable HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and is passionate about supporting frontline teams in hospitality and manufacturing settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns across all three sites.
  • Support a positive workplace culture by facilitating employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Partner with site leadership to address employee relations issues with discretion and consistency.


Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinate hourly and salaried recruitment efforts in collaboration with the centralized Talent Acquisition team.
  • End to end recruitment for brewpub employees
  • Support hiring managers with job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring timely completion of Workday documentation and compliance requirements.


HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records in Workday and ensure timely updates to job changes, promotions, and terminations.
  • Monitor time tracking, vacation requests, and absence approvals to ensure payroll accuracy and SOX compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.


Training & Development

  • Track mandatory training completions (e.g., Code of Conduct, Health & Safety) and follow up with site managers on compliance gaps.
  • Support the rollout of learning and development programs in partnership with the L&D team.


HR Reporting & Metrics

  • Assist with headcount tracking, labor cost reporting, and HR dashboards for the Northeast region.
  • Provide data to support audits, workforce planning, and leadership reviews.


Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, hospitality, or multi-site environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel between Montauk, Blue Point, and Detroit sites as needed.
