This is a hybrid role that will have the ability to work from home 2 days a week and be onsite at our state-of-the-art infant formula plant in Heath, OH 3 days a week. You will be a vital part of the People (HR) team to help manage company-wide programs, policies, and employee experience.

HR Coordination

  • Facilitate onboarding, offboarding and leave management tasks for the Bobbie team.
  • Assist with the administration of Bobbie's HR and IT systems and employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support for timecard management, benefits administration, and other HR-related tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll including reviewing timesheets, calculating overtime, managing deductions, and ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all employees.
  • Maintain payroll records and assist with payroll tax filings, wage garnishments, and year-end reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with People leadership on special research and reporting projects.
  • Support HR compliance activities including policy updates, documentation management, and regulatory reporting.
  • Assist with performance review processes, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up coordination.

Employee Experience

  • Contribute to employee engagement initiatives and help organize and execute company events and activities.
  • Support the implementation of health and wellness programs and other employee benefits.
  • Assist with developing and executing internal communications to foster a positive and informed workplace culture.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support employee relations activities including conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations under senior HR guidance.
  • Facilitate employee feedback collection through surveys, focus groups, and informal check-ins to identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate recognition programs and employee appreciation initiatives to boost morale and retention.
  • Assist with training and development program coordination, including scheduling sessions and tracking completion.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and help promote an inclusive workplace environment.

What we would like you to have:

  • Experience as an HR/Recruiting Coordinator, or comparable role, supporting hourly employees, ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Willingness and ability to spend a significant amount of time on the manufacturing floor getting to know the team and understanding the business
  • Talent for multi-tasking and comfort in a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
  • Warmth and passion, as well as natural ability to build and manage strong relationships quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
