We are in search of an energetic and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate for this position will have 1-2 years of Human Resources and recruiting experience. A high school diploma is required.
About Us: Joe East Enterprises is a family-owned and operated company with multiple locksmith and safe retail locations around DFW. We specialize in locksmith services, security services, and safe sales. We have a little over 100 wonderful employees, many with 10+ years of tenure with us. We are constantly growing and evolving to keep up with our customer's needs.
The Role:
- Interviewing candidates for employment
- Reaching out to schools in the DFW area and creating hiring programs for graduates
- Assisting the HR Manager with onboarding
- Keeping digital and physical copies of employment records up to date
- Performing orientation and employee onboarding
- Producing recruitment effort reports
- Planning employee engagement events and recognition for birthdays, performance, and employment anniversaries
- Other miscellaneous HR functions
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources role
- Effective administration and people management skills
- Ability to properly handle confidential information
- Full understanding of HR practices and Federal, State, and local employment laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High computer literacy with experience in Google Suite, ADP, Indeed, LinkedIn, and Team Engine
- Great organizational and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
